About Mrs. Anderson
Hi, I am Carey Anderson and I am beginning my third year with Carmel Clay Schools. I teach for Clay Middle School and Carmel Middle School. During the school year, I teach Digital Learning, Computer Science, Technology Essentials, and Digital Video Production for seventh grade. I am a club sponsor for DECA Junior Business Club and Green Team. I am a member of the Technology Team for Clay Middle School. You will find me collecting event tickets for many of the sports since I love sports.
I was raised in Carmel and after graduating from Carmel High School, I attended Ball State University. I hold a Masters of Education degree for Effective Teaching in Leadership for Instructional Technology from Butler University. My academic love is Computer Science, which I have taught K-8 Computers for over fifteen years. I also have experience teaching high school and higher education with instructing Project Management, Humanities, Informatics, and Business Mathematics courses. I live in Hamilton County with my husband and two teenage children, Allison and Zaccary. I enjoy all sporting events; especially football, lacrosse, soccer, and hockey. You can find me spending time landscaping, walking, and being with friends and family. You will often see me in Carmel since my brother, sister, nephews, and mom reside here. I look forward to getting to know all of you this school year and seeing familiar faces around in 8th grade. Please don't hesitate to contact me through email if you have any concerns or questions. I am always looking for parent or new business contacts to enhance the classroom atmosphere with guest speakers or field trips. |
